corn biomass by pirolisis

Corn biomass processing could also be done using pyrolysis. The major content of corn biomass are cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin, whereas when the combustion was done in with the appropriate temperature, pressure, and oxygen availability could be produced several chemical. From the pyrolysis could be produced food additive such as antioxidant, flavor, disinfectant which is safely used yang as food additive. Besides that,
from the pyrolysis process, also produced the bio oil which could be used as alternative energy. The aims of this research were to know the impact of pyrolysis treatment which had been given such as the temperature, and catalyst to the food additive (antioxidants, flavor, disinfectant) and also bio oil. From the thermogravimetric analysis, the corn cob would be burnt in temperature of 176.91°C until 388.97OC with 56.221% weight losses,
the corn husk in the 204.71 uti1367.92 "C with 50,1192% weight losses. While the corn leaves would be burnt in temperature of 209,06 -61 1.76 "C with 67.000% weight losses and the corn stem would be bumt in temperature of 139,28"C until 398,97 "C with 41,857% weight losses. The corncob and cornhusk pyrolysis produced the hughest liquid in the temperature of 550oC, while corn leaf and stalks in the temperature of 350°C. There were several chemical product from corn biomass pyrolysis such as fenol, aldehid, carboxylic acid and several hydrocarbon which could be used as food additive and biooil.
